PRIVACY POLICY

Clear guides.
Clear boundaries.

Effective and last updated: October 31, 2026

A plain-language account of what CuePilot processes, why it is needed, who receives it, how long it is kept, and how to exercise your rights.

01

Who we are and what this policy covers

Apexly Technologies Limited ("Apexly," "we," "us," or "our") operates CuePilot and is the data controller for the first-party processing described in this Privacy Policy. Apexly operates from Nigeria.

This policy covers the CuePilot Android app, the CuePilot website at cuepilot.getapexly.com, trial and purchase services, rewarded advertising, diagnostics, and communications sent to support@getapexly.com.

Google and other service providers may also process information under their own privacy notices. Depending on the service and context, they may act as our processor or as an independent controller.

02

CuePilot at a glance

CuePilot displays a visual aiming guide that you control over another Android app. It does not capture, record, transmit, or analyse the other app's screen; read game data; press controls; automate shots; or use Android Accessibility Services.

CuePilot does not provide user accounts. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, or precise location.

03

Information stored on your device

CuePilot stores the following in the app's private storage:

  • Table-calibration coordinates and profile names you create.
  • Guide colour, transparency, line width, drag sensitivity, theme, orientation, and active-profile settings.
  • A randomly generated installation identifier.
  • Information needed to remember an active trial on that installation.

Your calibration coordinates, profile names, and guide settings are not uploaded to Apexly. Android cloud backup is disabled for CuePilot. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes this local information, but does not delete information already held by Apexly, Google, or another service provider.

04

Trial eligibility and abuse prevention

CuePilot offers one trial per eligible device. To determine eligibility, validate requests, and prevent repeated trial abuse, we process:

  • An Android device identifier made available to CuePilot by Android.
  • CuePilot's installation identifier.
  • Google Play Integrity results, which may include signals about the app, device integrity, and licensing.
  • Trial status and redemption or expiry times.

We use a pseudonymous identifier derived from the Android device identifier to determine trial eligibility and prevent repeated trial abuse. We do not intentionally retain the original device identifier or Google Play Integrity token in our application database or logs. The pseudonymous trial identifier is not anonymous and may still be personal data.

Google independently processes Play Integrity requests under its own terms and privacy notice.

05

Google Play purchases

CuePilot uses Google Play Billing for the optional lifetime purchase. We process purchase information supplied by Google Play, such as the product, purchase status, verification result, and information needed to verify, restore, refund, or revoke the entitlement.

We retain a pseudonymous purchase record, its current status, and relevant grant or revocation times. We do not intentionally retain the original Google Play purchase credential in our application database or logs. Apexly does not receive your payment-card details. Google processes your Google account, order, payment, and billing information under Google's own privacy notice.

06

Rewarded advertising and diagnostics

Google Mobile Ads. CuePilot uses Google Mobile Ads to offer optional rewarded access. The advertising service may be initialized and may preload an ad when the app starts, even if you do not choose to display the ad. An impression and reward event occur only if an ad is shown and completed.

Google Mobile Ads may process IP address and approximate location derived from it; advertising, app-instance, device, and account-related identifiers; device and network information; ad requests, impressions, clicks, and reward events; fraud-prevention signals; and diagnostics. Google may use this information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and personalization in accordance with applicable law, consent choices, settings, and Google's policies.

Apexly may receive ad status and error information and aggregated advertising reports. We do not intentionally store your Google Advertising ID in our application database.

Crash and operational diagnostics. CuePilot uses Firebase Crashlytics in production releases to identify crashes and important operational failures. Crashlytics may process crash reports, exception details, app version, device model, operating-system version, timestamps, session information, a Crashlytics installation identifier, and related diagnostic data.

We also process limited operational records needed to understand trial, purchase, advertising, and service failures. We design these records to avoid names, email addresses, profile names, calibration coordinates, original device identifiers, advertising identifiers, purchase credentials, and Play Integrity tokens. CuePilot does not use Firebase Analytics.

Google and its infrastructure providers may process standard service information such as IP addresses, request times, device or app information, response codes, and security events needed to operate and protect their services.

07

Website visits and support communications

The CuePilot website does not currently use web analytics, advertising pixels, a contact form, or first-party marketing cookies. Our hosting or content-delivery provider may still process standard request information such as your IP address, browser or user-agent information, requested page, timestamp, response status, and security signals.

If you email Apexly, we process your email address, message, attachments, and related correspondence to respond, investigate the issue, and keep an appropriate support or legal record. Do not send purchase credentials, passwords, or other secrets by ordinary email.

08

Android access and app capabilities

CuePilot uses the following Android access and integrated services:

  • Display over other apps: lets CuePilot show the guide above another app. You grant or revoke this access in Android settings.
  • Foreground service: keeps a user-started guide available while you switch apps. Android displays an ongoing notification when required.
  • Internet and network state: supports trial and purchase verification, advertising, diagnostics, and related Google services.
  • Google Play Billing and Play Integrity: supports purchases, licensing, trial validation, and abuse prevention.
  • Google Mobile Ads: supports optional rewarded advertising and related measurement.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: supports crash and reliability diagnostics.

CuePilot cannot display its guide over another app without display-over-other-apps access.

09

Why we process information

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable law, we process personal data on the following bases:

  • Contract and steps you request: to provide app features, issue and validate a trial, verify or restore a purchase, and deliver requested rewarded access.
  • Legitimate interests: to enforce the one-trial rule, protect licensing and purchases, prevent fraud and tampering, secure the service, diagnose failures, and maintain reliability.
  • Consent where required: for advertising or identifier uses that require consent. You may change relevant choices through available Google, Android, or consent controls. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
  • Legal obligations and legal claims: for accounting, tax, regulatory, law-enforcement, dispute, refund, and rights-request obligations.

Where Google acts as an independent controller, Google determines its own purposes and legal bases as described in its notices.

10

Service providers, disclosure, and international transfers

Apexly uses Google services for app distribution, billing, purchase verification, integrity checks, rewarded advertising, crash reporting, cloud infrastructure, and data storage. We may also use website-hosting, content-delivery, and email providers. These providers receive information only as relevant to the service they supply and process it under their applicable terms.

Personal data may be processed outside Nigeria or your country of residence. Where required, Apexly relies on applicable lawful transfer grounds and provider contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards.

Apexly does not sell or rent personal data. We may disclose limited information when required by law, to protect users or the service, to establish or defend legal claims, or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection measures.

11

Retention and security

We apply the following retention periods or criteria:

  • Local app data: kept until you change it, clear CuePilot's app data, or uninstall CuePilot.
  • Information used only to process a request: original device identifiers, Play Integrity tokens, and original purchase credentials are not intentionally retained in our application database or logs after the relevant processing is complete.
  • Pseudonymous trial records: kept while CuePilot operates the one-trial programme because they are needed to prevent repeated trials. If the programme permanently ends, we will review these records for deletion within 12 months unless a security, legal, or dispute-related reason requires longer retention.
  • Pseudonymous purchase records: kept while needed to verify, restore, refund, revoke, or defend a lifetime entitlement. After final revocation or the last relevant transaction, related records may be retained for up to seven years where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, chargebacks, legal claims, or legal obligations.
  • Operational logs: normally kept for up to 30 days unless an incident, dispute, or legal obligation requires longer preservation.
  • Crash reports: generally kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days, subject to Google's current terms and any lawful preservation requirement.
  • Support correspondence: normally kept for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact, and longer only when needed for an unresolved issue, transaction, legal claim, or legal obligation.
  • Advertising, Google Play, website, and other provider records: kept under the relevant provider's policies and service configuration.

We use safeguards such as encryption in transit, access controls, managed credentials, data minimization, and limited logging. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.

12

Your rights and deletion requests

Subject to applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may request information about our processing and ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent authority.

Send a request to support@getapexly.com. CuePilot has no user accounts, and we do not store your email address alongside trial or purchase records. We may therefore ask for limited information or provide steps needed to locate and verify the relevant record. Do not send a purchase credential unless Apexly specifically requests it through an appropriate secure process.

When handling a deletion request:

  • You can remove information stored locally by clearing CuePilot's app data or uninstalling the app.
  • We will delete or de-identify information that we are not required or permitted to retain.
  • We may retain a limited pseudonymous trial record where necessary to prevent repeated trial abuse and permitted by applicable law.
  • We may need to retain a purchase record for restoration, refunds, revocations, fraud prevention, accounting, legal claims, or other legal obligations. Deleting an eligible purchase record may prevent us from restoring the entitlement.
  • Information controlled independently by Google or another provider must be managed through that provider.

Uninstalling CuePilot or clearing its data does not automatically delete records already held by Apexly or a service provider.

13

Children, policy changes, and contact

CuePilot is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. Apexly does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 through CuePilot. If you believe a child has used CuePilot or sent information to Apexly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We may update this policy when CuePilot's features, service providers, retention practices, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be published on this page with a new effective date.
